I don't remember what year it was. I paid $200 for it. I loved that car but man what a piece of crap. Snapped bolts in the exhaust manifold. Noisy as hell. The voltage regulator did not charge the battery, so I used to have to park on a hill and jump start it to go anywhere. That was a cool car though.

I had a 1980 Scirocco. It was a great car. I'll have to search for a photograph of it.
